That hairdo took 3-hours of dryer time and about 100 hair pins (LOL)!
My dress was purchase from a tiny little shop in Chevy Chase, Md. In fact, Georgette Mosbacher and I must have the same taste in clothing, we both wore the same evening dress to the dinner. She made lots of jokes and was very kind about the "twin thing."
I had the time of my life. I met many other famous people that night also, as listed below. *********************************************************************** Former D.C. Mayor Sharon Pratt Dixon Author Kitty Kelly Helen Thomas,UPI Pete William, Defense Department George Stephanopoulos Lesley Stahl, CBS News John Sununu,White House Chief of Staff Nancy Sununu, John's Wife Alan Greenspan, Federal Reserve Board Thomas Foley, Former Speaker of the House Donna Britt, Washington Post General Norman Schwarzkopf

During my years working for British Television News, I have been privileged to meet many famous people.
I was presented to and shook hands with, Queen Elizabeth, during a tea, held in her honor at the British Embassy, in Washington, D.C.
I also, am honored to have met Princess Diana, during her visit to Washington, D.C. to meet with Mrs. Bush at the White House. These are memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I remember Princess Diana as being very tall, beautiful, soft-spoken and most of all, very kind.
